Social distancing is practiced by majority but there are still some that are roaming the streets and parks. We are allowed to go out for groceries and medical care only after filling out the official form or risk getting a ticket up to 135€. Transportation wise, the metro, buses and taxis are still working. All restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops are closed. The supermarkets, pharmacies, and tabacs are still open. There are some policemen patrolling the streets.
In France, not everyone is able to be tested and I’ve heard at least two cases about my friends family members. They had the headache, fever, cough symptoms but their doctors told them to stay home and not go get tested. They are however self-quarantined and being very vigilant.
What we could do:
Limit our trips to the supermarket, groceries, bakeries, pharmacies
Keep a 1m/3ft distance
Wash hands for at least 20 seconds
Do not touch your eyes, nose, mouth area without washing your hands
Do not panic buy anything
Keep in touch with family and friends (Facetime, Skype, group chats)
